u4gm Diablo 4 Season 10 Chaos Weapon Stats Guide
#1
If you’re running a Chaos Weapon Mastery build – especially one built around the Barbarian’s Walking Arsenal passive – then the way you set up your gear will make or break the build. Every stat roll, every enchant matters. You want the whole thing to feel smooth but hit like a truck. Most folks start by locking in the right weapons, since they’re the core of your damage output. And yeah, getting a high item power piece with a Greater Affix on a key stat is gold. If you’re still hunting for the perfect setup, grabbing the right Diablo 4 Items can speed things up big time.
For your Two-Handed Slashing Weapon – usually a sword or axe – the go-to choice is a sword thanks to its built-in crit damage bonus. You’ll want Strength, Critical Strike Damage, Vulnerable Damage, and Core Skill Damage. That’s your bread and butter hit stick.
Then there’s the Two-Handed Bludgeoning Weapon – a mace – which is the only real option if you’re leaning into Overpower. The implicit Overpower Damage is too good to pass up, so aim for Strength, Overpower Damage, Damage while Berserking, and Vulnerable Damage.
Your Dual-Wield Weapons are more like stat boosters than main hitters, so the weapon type matters less than the rolls. Stack Strength, Vulnerable Damage, Damage while Berserking, and Core Skill Damage.
Armor and jewellery are where you balance damage with survivability. On your Helm, Chest, Pants, and Boots, go heavy on Maximum Life, Armor %, and targeted Damage Reduction like Close or Fortified. Cooldown Reduction on the Helm and Amulet is pretty much non-negotiable if you want smooth skill rotation. Movement speed on Boots and Amulet makes the game feel better instantly. Gloves are your offensive slot – stack Critical Strike Chance, Attack Speed, and skill ranks for your main Core Skill.
For jewellery, the Amulet can roll Cooldown Reduction, ranks to a key passive, and a damage stat like Critical Strike Chance. Rings should be all about Critical Strike Chance, Critical Strike Damage, Vulnerable Damage, plus either Resource Generation or Maximum Fury.
Tempering and Masterworking are where you squeeze out the last chunk of power. For weapons, look for Tempering manuals that add flat damage or boost the size/effect of your main skills – stuff like “Increase [Core Skill] Size” or “Chance to cast [Secondary Skill] on hit.” On defensive gear, temper for Maximum Life or handy effects like “Chance to Stun on Hit.” Masterworking is all about hitting those bonus upgrades at ranks 4, 8, and 12 on your most important stat.
You’ll want to start with your weapons, aiming for the 25% bonus on Critical Strike Damage, Vulnerable Damage, or Core Skill Damage. That’s the point where your build stops feeling decent and starts melting everything in sight – and if you need more resources to push that last step, you can always buy Diablo 4 gold to fund the upgrades.
